This sales contract is written for the protection of both the buyer and the seller, and when signed, becomes binding and legal.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Sound health and temperament of said cat/kitten is guaranteed upon arrival.  The seller will provide a veterinary health certificate with vaccination record and worming record at the time of sale/shipping.

This kitten has been sold as a pet, and must be spayed/neutered at buyer’s expense at or before five months of age. Seller agrees to furnish TICA registration papers for kitten upon presentation of a veterinarian's certificate of sterilization.  This animal is in no wise to be used for breeding purposes.

SELLER GUARANTEES:

Seller guarantees this kitten to be in good condition and health for a period of 72 hours from the time the kitten leaves the possession of the seller.  It is recommended that you take the kittens to your veterinarian within this time period for your own satisfaction and protection.  In the event the veterinarian finds this kitten to be medically deficient, the seller shall be notified immediately.  Upon receipt by the seller of certifiable documentation, the kitten may be returned, and the purchase price will be refunded.

Should this kitten die within one year as a direct result of a congenital defect present and unknown at time of sale, it will be replaced if an appropriate necropsy is performed by a licensed veterinarian and a veterinary certificate is provided showing proof of the cause of death.  A replacement kitten of comparable quality and value, as available, will be made at the discretion of the breeder/seller.

BUYER AGREES:

Buyer agrees to spay/neuter this kitten when it reaches five months of age or before, and to provide a veterinarian's certificate of sterilization to the seller.  Buyer further agrees that this animal will not be used for breeding purposes under any circumstances.

Buyer promises to give responsible and humane care to this animal for the rest of its life, including sanitary facilities, proper nutrition, and regular veterinary care.  Buyer further promises to provide a loving environment and regular interaction with this animal, and promises not to neglect this animal nor abuse it in any way.  Buyer also agrees that this cat will be an indoor pet only, and will not be allowed to roam outside for any reason.

If at any time the buyer can no longer provide care for this cat and must dispose of it for any reason, the seller must be contacted first and given the first option to buy back the cat or provide a buyer before it is advertised or transferred (sold, given, leased, loaned) to any other person.

Seller reserves the right to repossess this cat in the event of failure or refusal of buyer to comply with the terms of this contract.

This contract will be governed by the laws of the state of Florida, and the legal jurisdiction for this contract shall remain in the greater Hillsborough County of the State of Florida.

Seller’s signed agreement to buyer becomes binding upon seller’s receipt of full payment and contract copy signed by buyer.
